  • Title: Remedy Development and Description, Part 1 – RAOs and Institutional Analyses

  • Description: This presentation will address developing RAOs & remediation goals and conducting Institutional Analyses for munitions response projects.  It will describe the necessary components of an RAO and show ways of presenting them clearly to ensuring they address all necessary exposure pathways.  The presentation will also explain what the Institutional Analysis is and why it’s needed, as well as how to avoiding common mistakes with the Institutional Analysis Report.

    James joined the EM CX in Feb 2021, having worked as a contractor for over 30 years.  His current roles in munitions response include developing and updating guidance, providing training, and performing numerous (some might say too many) document reviews.  He also currently a member of the development teams for both the DoD Risk Management Methodology guidance  and MR-QAPP Toolkit #2.  James is based in Austin, TX.
