2024 Annual Meeting

In 2024, NAOC will be holding our December Board Meeting in conjunction with the Army Military Munitions Safety Standdown (referred to as M2S2) Technical Meeting in Huntsville, Alabama at Redstone Arsenal.

The membership committee has identified the Embassy Suites by Hilton Huntsville as the venue to hold our Board Meeting and a Reception/Networking event, but are not planning to hold separate technical sessions in December. 

General Schedule of events for NAOC and M2S2 Sessions (a link to the M2S2 agenda is provided below):

  • Tuesday December 10th:
    • 0800 - 1130 - NAOC Board of Directors Meeting (Open to Members only) at Embassy Suites, when M2S2 is holding DoD only events
    • 1130 - 1300 - Lunch on your Own
    • 1300 - 1315 - M2S2 Welcome Session at Redstone Arsenal
    • 1315 - 1700 - M2S2 Open Plenary Sessions at Redstone Arsenal
    • 1800 - 2000 - NAOC Reception (Open to Members and Government) at Embassy Suites
  • Wednesday December 11th:
    • 0800 - 0815 - M2S2 Welcome Sesson at Redstone Arsenal
    • 0815 - 1135 - M2S2 Breakout Sessions at Redstone Arsenal
    • 1135 - 1315 - Lunch on your own
    • 1315 - 1635 - M2S2 Breakout Sessions at Redstone Arsenal
  • Thursday December 12th:
    • 0800 - 0815 - M2S2 Welcome Sesson at Redstone Arsenal
    • 0815 - 1135 - M2S2 Breakout Sessions at Redstone Arsenal
    • 1135 - 1315 - Lunch on your own
    • 1315 - 1635 - M2S2 Breakout Sessions at Redstone Arsenal
A discounted Room Block for NAOC members has been coordinated for the length of the M2S2 meeting, of $159 per night+taxes.

Registration cut-off dates:

  • Foreign nationals without permanent resident cards is 6 October! This applies only to foreign nationals who do not possess a U.S. Permanent Resident Card (also known as a resident alien card, or Green Card). 
  • All other non-DoD registrations is 19 November.  

This forum will bring together USACE, DoD leaders, federal land managers, state and federal regulators and contractors to discuss munitions response cleanup issues and initiatives, share programmatic information, and share lessons learned to foster strong working relationships.

5k Fundraiser for the EOD Warrior Foundation

NAOC is conducting their 4th annual virtual run/walk! All proceeds will be going to the EOD Warrior Foundation. Please join us in supporting them so they can continue their support to the EOD Community and EOD Technicians worldwide! You may also donate to the cause if you do not want to participate in the event.

This event is completely virtual and will run from September 16th, 2024 to December 15th, 2024, to be completed at your leisure.
